Common questions
Are your quotes really free?
Yes. Rex comes out, gets on the roof, and gives you a written quote with photos of what he found, at no cost. For small repairs where you just want it fixed on the spot, there's a repair call-out of $175 + GST plus materials.
What types of roofs do you work on?
Concrete tile and terracotta (clay) tile roofs. That's all we do, which is why we're good at it.
Do you work on metal, Decramastic or new roofs?
No. We specialise in concrete and terracotta tile roofs only, so we don't take on metal roofs, Decramastic or other pressed-metal tile roofs, new roofs, flashing replacement or asbestos roofs. If that's what you need, we're happy to point you in the right direction.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Auckland: Central, East and West Auckland, plus Waiheke Island. We work a lot in Remuera, Epsom, Mount Eden, Mount Roskill, Hillsborough, St Heliers, Kohimarama and Titirangi.
Can you help with an insurance claim?
Yes. We'll make the roof safe, take photos of the damage and give you a written report and quote to send to your insurer. Your insurer decides the claim, but a clear report makes it easier.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance and we're height safety certified.
