Common problems on concrete tile roofs
- Ridge and hip mortar breaking down, leaving loose caps and gaps
- Cracked tiles from foot traffic, branches or age
- Porous, weathered tiles that soak up water as the surface wears
- Moss and lichen growing on the rougher, older surface
- Blocked valleys sending water under the tiles in heavy rain
What we do
Most concrete tile roofs don't need replacing. They need the right repairs in the right places: cracked tiles swapped out, ridges rebedded or repointed, valleys cleared and moss treated. We'll show you photos of what's needed and what isn't.
Matching concrete tiles
Concrete tiles come in many profiles and colours, and some older ones are no longer made. We match as closely as we can, using reclaimed tiles where needed. If a repair is in a very visible spot, we can move an original tile from somewhere less visible and put the replacement out of sight.
Thinking about a roof coating? We don't sell roof painting. If someone tells you your concrete roof needs a full coating to stop leaks, get the leak properly diagnosed first. Coatings don't fix cracked tiles or failed ridges.
